Villa Vanna Sedi’s 4 air-conditioned Suites with tactile reclaimed teak wood flooring throughout, afford views to the garden and pool. Two Suites offer King size beds while two can be configured either as Twin or King. An airy bathroom in a garden setting offering both bathtub and shower adjoins each bedroom, as does a spacious separate dressing room.
The well-travelled owners’ collection of exotic artefacts from the Indonesian archipelago and South East Asia lend the villa its unique style and ambience.
The open-sided living room overlooks the garden and ponds, and functions as the central congregating spot for guests at Villa Vanna Sedi. Large, comfortable sofas and a coffee table are framed by an intricately carved antique “Joglo”, its’ massive teak pillars draped in billowing muslin drapes. To the side of the main living room is the breezy dining room with its solid teak dining table and comfortable benches easily accommodating 10 for dinner. The high quality Bose audio sound system is available throughout the house and garden.
The immaculate kitchen is fully equipped with the latest appliances and is separated from the dining room so one can enjoy private dining whilst the Chef is preparing his delicious dishes! The comfortable, air-conditioned Media Room offers a wide screen satellite TV and DVD Player. High speed Wifi is available throughout the villa.
The Villa name derives from a combination of Khmer and Sanskrit – Vanna = Goddess and Sedi = Glow. There is a beautiful golden glow from the sun’s early morning rays that spreads across the garden and slowly fills the land and corridors of the house. The gated property is surrounded by trees ensuring complete privacy for guests – and that bird song is the music du jour!
For complete relaxation one can enjoy a massage, reflexology or a facial in the villa Spa, or for the more active, the private Gym offers a treadmill, multi-weight machine, yoga mats, weights and a fit ball. Yoga classes at the villa are also available by prior arrangement or one can join a class at a beautiful space nearby.
