The Permata Ayung Private Estate sleeps up to 20 guests as a single exclusive group. Accommodation is a series of antique structures from Java, each unique and infused with its own personality. Each of the guest rooms are large, spacious, furnished with antiques, art and personally chosen decorative objects, respectively beautifully lit, air conditioned with ceiling fans and open terraces to allow breezes to filter from the rice fields, while the sound of the flowing Ayung River provides a relaxing soundtrack. Presidential Suite of Winongpati

The grandeur of the Winong Pati private residence is the setting for an opulent and magnificent master suite. Created entirely from gleaming wood with carved details, the top floor takes in the sweeping views from an open-air lounge, furnished with antique sofas and lush, imported leather chesterfields. Details abound with antique lights ornament, art and artifacts. The high ceiling opens the room to a natural breeze that filters or the rice opposite terraces.

Bridal Suite

The Bridal Suite is an oversized joglo with beautifully carved beams and a custom designed canopy bed on a platform at the centre. A full kitchen is included in the suite and a stunning bathroom featuring mosaic-tiled features and a Jacuzzi bath complete this amazing suite. A private garden adds to the romance of the bridal suite.

The Blora Twin Suite

The Blora Suite is another monument to the artistry of Indonesia’s carvers. A romantic canopy bed sits at the centre, a desk and living area opens to the terrace with its evocative views, yet another masterpiece bathroom is located in Blora House, spacious, luxurious and completely unique.

The Gladak Chalet

This riverside Gladak House is a rustic, self-contained cottage that was the very first house finished on the estate. Equipped with a kitchen and luxurious indoor/outdoor en-suite bathroom, Gladak House blends perfectly with the lush tropical forest surrounding it. A perfect hideaway house that opens to the natural pools beside the Ayung River.

Kudus Suites

Situated at a private corner of the estate, the unique old Javanese Kudus House contains two spacious beautiful suites, one on the ground floor overlooking the gardens and the other as an upstairs loft-style space with cathedral ceilings and a walk in dressing room.

Each filled with character and interest, luxurious in detail. The Kudus House offers private terraces and fantasy en-suite bathrooms.

Garuda Wing Suites

The Garuda House offers four spacious guest suites, each with its own unique en-suite bathroom. The wood throughout gleams with age and each of the guest rooms, two on the ground floor and two above, have their own terraces overlooking the estate.

The Lumbung Twin Houses

The retreat for children and young adults is situated close to the dining joglo and the pool. With its own kitchen for snacks and small meals, it is comprised of two antique Lumbungs, rice barns, each with a twin suite at the top and bales below for relaxing by day. A water feature separates the two and each has its own private bathroom.

Restaurant

A team of professional chefs create gourmet menus throughout the day at the estate’s private kitchen. From beautiful, tropical breakfasts to healthy lunches and delectable dinners, most of the produce is grown on the estate with a nod to fine dining. The smell of freshly baked bread, home-made stocks and sauces is a call to indulge the senses.

Personal requests, celebration dinners, bar snacks, afternoon tea and picnics are all created right here. A beautifully restored antique joglo, overlooking the ponds and garden, serves as the dining room. With a long central table and additional tables for larger events, communal dining is part of the Permata Ayung experience.

Throughout the day, fresh organic fruit and healthy juices grown in the estate’s garden are on hand and detox diets or special menu requests are handled with ease.

The Bamboo Spa and Wellness Center

Designed by world-famous bamboo architect, Mrs. Elora Hardy, a private spa faces the river and offers a full range of wellness and beauty treatments by professional spa therapists. Created entirely from bamboo on the edge of the river, the sound of water surrounds and captivates, soothing the senses and promoting total relaxation. A spa, steam room, outdoor tubs and showers are part of the spa complex. Rising like a cathedral over the surrounding trees, it has long been a dream of Mrs. Hardy to build a spa such as this. From single and double massage rooms, to a dedicated spa room offering manicures, pedicures and hair treatments. The spa is a fantasy that reflects the organic philosophies of Permata Ayung Private Estate. At the river’s edge, beside the clean, flowing water, two natural stone pools have been carved from natural rock. Harnessing the energy of the river and the spiritual energy of the land, this is one of the most serene and beautiful hideaways on the estate.

Fitness Center

Nestled in the gardens is a state-of-the-art fitness center overlooking the river, with life fitness machines, weights and an air-conditioned space where yoga and private classes can be held, the gym offers views over the river and is equipped with adjoining changing rooms.
